BiS Henderson carries some 40,000 candidates on its database at any one time. It is continuously enlarged at the rate of approximately 70 new people per day, however BiS Henderson ensures that the database remains as “clean” as possible by regularly removing candidates details that have not been updated in the previous 6 month period. The outcome of this pruning process is two fold:
- Most candidates on the BiS Henderson database are ready for the right move
- BiS Henderson can maintain and offer clients a current and vibrant selection, from which it can quickly identify potential short list candidates.
BiS Henderson’s Database Search Service is used to find candidates in both generic or standard roles such as Principal or Senior Consultants, Social Researchers, Planners, Modellers, Environmental Consultants, etc.
Each curriculum vitae BiS Henderson receives is sorted into one or more of 30 categories of skill sets. BiS Henderson is confident that these skill sets cover the majority of job categories and requirements in the various transport fields. There is therefore a high likelihood that suitable candidates will be available on the BiS Henderson database for jobs both within the UK and International.
There are occasions however when no suitable or available candidates can be identified from the database. This can be due to a number of factors including remuneration package, location, qualifications, experience etc. At this stage BiS Henderson would revert to its extensive network of contacts within the supply chain and logistics industry who would be able to assist or advise BiS Henderson’s consultants to help identify potential candidates that are available to fill a specific position.
BiS Henderson aims to identify and present to the client between 3 and 5 potential candidates for each role.
