We have established a portfolio of experienced director, senior and middle manager level interim managers, with skills in supply chain management, logistics, warehousing, purchasing, HR and finance.

We work closely with clients to fully understand their requirements. A full brief and clear objectives ensure we quickly and effectively provide a choice of the most suitable, credible and dependable Interim Managers who can make a difference in the short to medium term.

Interim Managers introduced by BiS Henderson are sensibly over qualified to undertake the roles they are going into. They come with no historical baggage and as such can be effective agents of change.

Our Approach

A briefing meeting is sought to discuss the assignment in depth with the client seeking an Interim Manager. Detailed job and person specifications are agreed along with appropriate timescales.

Requirements are matched against managers on our register; those with the best fit are identified and contacted to discuss the position and availability during a focused telephone discussion.

All managers will be known to BiS Henderson and will have been personally interviewed and references checked.

Generally, a shortlist of three candidates will be put forward to our clients for their assessment and interview selection.

If a candidate is successful BiS Henderson will implement a contract (on terms and length) with the client and the Manager. We will only enter into a contract with self-employed individuals. Therefore, most of our Interim Managers will have established Limited Companies and have professional indemnity insurance. Should an Interim manager not have sufficient professional Indemnity then BiS Henderson are able to provide this through our own policy.

Normally we will agree a day rate with the client and a day rate with the candidate, with the difference being our margin. (Expenses will be charged as incurred and go direct to the candidate with no margin added). For your peace of mind, BiS Henderson has a policy of transparent fees and costings between clients and candidates. We also have a policy of paying the Interims on agreed terms independent of whether payment has been received from the client. Consequently we have found many of our interims actually prefer to contract to us rather than directly to the client.

Unless previously agreed there will be no charges made unless a candidate is appointed. This means that the initial research is at our expense.

Once an Interim Manager has been placed, we will conduct performance and progress reviews both face-to-face and over the telephone with the client and the Interim Manager to ensure the assignment is a success.
