We’re delighted to announce a series of appointments to our Consulting team, reflecting our commitment to global expansion.
Mark Monger FCILT joins as Senior Consultant, with 27 years’ experience in the supply chain sector, having held high-level positions within DHL’s consumer and healthcare divisions, across Europe, Middle East and Africa and most recently fulfilling the role of General Manager Solutions Government & Defence at Kuehne + Nagel. Recognised as an expert in supply chain re-engineering, as well as technical solution design and development, Mark brings a wealth of experience in network and transport modelling, and specialises in identifying and implementing cost saving initiatives and streamlining operations to improve efficiency and productivity. He has wide industry expertise, having worked in healthcare for NHS Supply Chain, within retail for Somerfield, COOP, J. Sainsbury, Travis Perkins and Booker, as well as in the FMCG sector for Bacardi and British American Tobacco. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Logistics.
Also joining as Senior Consultant is Julian Simpson, a supply chain and logistics professional with over 20 years of experience in adding value to organisations across a broad range of activities and geographies – including working for DHL Supply Chain, TDG, and Exxon Mobil. He has technical and detailed expertise in supply chain optimisation, network design, inventory planning, transport and freight planning, warehouse design and process mapping, as well as extensive experience of continuous improvement in systemised environments. He is an “agent for change” and attained an Msc in Management in China and Emerging Markets at University of Nottingham.
Kate Harrison has been appointed Consultant, and comes to Bis Henderson Consulting with comprehensive analytical skills, having fulfilled roles as Senior Procurement and Supply Chain Analyst at SpringTide Procurement Solutions, Information Analyst/Programmer at Explico Solutions, and Logistics Analyst at TNT Network Logistics.
